In over two decades of practice, the number one mistake. I see patients make is cleaning their ears completely blind. Cotton swabs, picks, irrigation — all done without any visibility. This device changes that entirely. For the first time, patients can actually see what they're doing before they do it. That single feature prevents more damage than any medication I could prescribe.

Parents come to me every week with children who have compacted wax almost always caused by cotton swabs used at home. The problem isn't the parents. The problem is they had no way to see inside their child's ear. This camera device solves exactly that. I now recommend it to every parent before they leave my office

Most hearing issues I treat in adults under 50 are entirely preventable. Impacted wax from years of incorrect cleaning is far more common than people realize. What I appreciate about this device is the real-time feedback — you see the wax, you remove it, you stop when it's clean. No guessing. No over-cleaning. Your hearing will thank you."

I used to spend at least two appointments a week doing ear irrigations that patients could have safely managed at home — if they had the right tool. This camera ear cleaner is that tool.Safe silicone tip, live visualization, no water pressure. Honestly, it's made my job easier because patients come in with healthier ears.

You want to know what I see in the ER?Adults who flushed their ears at home with too much water pressure. Kids who got a cotton swab pushed too deep. Every single one of them thought they were doing the right thing. A camera device that lets you see before you touch — that's not a luxury. That's basic harm prevention.

The ear canal is not a straight tube. It curves. It narrows. Cleaning it without visibility is like driving in complete darkness and hoping for the best. This device gives you headlights. I have recommended it to over 200 patients in the past year alone. Zero reports of injury. That number speaks for itself.

The truth is that for the price it's very good, good image quality and easy to connect, but not via Bluetooth, it uses the Wi-Fi emitted by the device itself. I recommend the purchase and never using cotton swabs again that end up clogging the ears.

Great, I took another similar one and ended up getting this one. It's thinner than the others and fits well for a 3-year-old child. The image quality is much better than others. The ear is clearly visible. You can order it. Very clear image.

In my opinion, the image quality is good, there are enough tips and replacement steel and silicone ones, the battery lasts a long time in such a small device, it's comfortable to hold in hand, the app works on Android. I'm pleasantly surprised, nice

FAQ's

Is it safe to use inside my ear? Could it damage my eardrum?
+

Yes — the Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax is designed with safety as the top priority. Each tip attachment has a built-in depth-limiting guard so the tool cannot go too deep into the ear canal. The flexible silicone ear spoon is soft and gentle on delicate skin. The real-time camera view also means you can see exactly where the tip is at all times — eliminating the guesswork that makes traditional cotton swabs and ear picks risky. As with any ear-care tool, we recommend gentle movements and stopping immediately if you feel any discomfort.

How do I connect it to my phone? Does it need WiFi?
+

No WiFi required. The Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax connects directly to your smartphone via the companion app Soulear (available free on both iOS App Store and Google Play). Simply download the app, open it, connect to the device, and the live camera feed appears on your screen instantly. The connection is via a direct wireless link between the device and your phone — no internet or home network needed. Works with iPhones and Android phones.

How often should I clean my ears with this device?
+

Most adults produce enough earwax to warrant cleaning once every 1–2 weeks. However, ears are self-cleaning to a degree — the camera lets you check first and only clean when you can actually see buildup. This is actually one of the biggest advantages over blind cleaning with cotton swabs: you can visually confirm whether cleaning is needed before you start. People who wear hearing aids, earbuds, or AirPods frequently may find they need to clean more often.

How do I charge it? How long does the battery last?
+

The device charges via USB-C (cable included in the box). A full charge takes approximately 1–2 hours and provides enough battery life for 30–60 minutes of continuous use — more than sufficient for several cleaning sessions. An indicator light shows charging status. The compact storage case also doubles as a carrying case, keeping the device and all tip attachments organized between uses.

What exactly comes in the box?
+

The Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax kit includes:

1 × smart ear cleaning handle with built-in HD camera,

12 × tip attachments (multiple silicone ear spoons in different sizes and colors,

1 × ear forceps attachment

1 × nasal forceps attachment)

1 × USB-C charging cable

1 × premium storage case that keeps everything organized.

Everything fits neatly in the case for travel or bathroom storage.

What if I have an ear infection, perforated eardrum, or ear tubes?
+

Do not use this device if you currently have an ear infection (symptoms: pain, discharge, fever, sudden hearing loss), a known perforated eardrum, or surgically placed ear tubes — unless your doctor has specifically advised you that it is safe. In these cases, please consult an ENT specialist or audiologist before using any at-home ear cleaning tool. The Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax is designed for healthy ears and routine preventative cleaning, not for treatment of ear conditions.

Can I use this on my child or baby?
+

Yes — this is actually one of the most popular use cases for the Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax. The camera lets parents see clearly inside their child's ear before and during cleaning, which dramatically reduces the risk of accidental injury compared to using a cotton swab or ear pick blindly. We recommend using the small silicone ear spoon tip for children and always having the child sit still and calm before proceeding. For infants under 12 months, please consult your pediatrician first.

What are the different tips for? When do I use each one?
+

The kit includes three main attachment types:

(1) Silicone ear spoon — the most commonly used tip, ideal for daily cleaning and scooping out soft or loose earwax.

(2) Ear forceps — for stubborn or hardened earwax that needs to be gripped and pulled out rather than scooped.

(3) Nasal forceps — specifically shaped to safely remove debris from the nasal cavity without touching the tender inner walls. Multiple color-coded silicone spoon sizes are included for different ear canal sizes (adult vs. child).

What is the camera resolution? Will I actually be able to see clearly?
+

The Ear Cleaner Senpai Wax features an 8 megapixel HD camera with 6 surrounding LED lights for bright, clear illumination inside the ear canal. This is a significant upgrade over basic ear cameras — many budget models are blurry and poorly lit, making it hard to see what you're doing. The 8MP sensor delivers sharp, detailed real-time footage on your phone screen. You can also take photos and record video directly in the app, and save images to your phone's photo album for reference.

How do I clean and maintain the tips after use?
+

All silicone tips and forceps attachments are removable and washable. Simply detach the tip from the handle, rinse with warm water and mild soap, and allow to air dry completely before reattaching. The handle itself should be wiped down with a lightly damp cloth — do not submerge the handle in water as it contains the camera and electronics. The tips are durable and reusable many times over

I have very hard, impacted earwax. Will this still work for me?
+

The camera is extremely useful for impacted wax — it lets you see the extent of the buildup clearly before attempting to remove anything. For mild-to-moderate hardened wax, the ear forceps attachment is specifically designed to grip and gently remove firm pieces. However, for severe impaction where wax is very deep or causing pain, we recommend using earwax softening drops for a few days first (available at any pharmacy) and consulting a doctor. This device is a home-care tool and is not a substitute for medical treatment of severe impaction.

Which phones is it compatible with?
+

The Soulear app is compatible with iOS 9.0 and above (iPhone 6 and newer) and Android 5.0 and above. This covers the vast majority of smartphones in use today. The device connects wirelessly — no adapters or cables needed between the phone and the ear cleaner. One device can connect to multiple phones, making it easy to share within a family.
